Immersive Learning
Immersive learning is a delivery technique designed to simulate the reality of critical incident management. Immersed in a realistic environment, students can experience the decision-making process and understand the complex issues involved.
Immersive learning systems can be used recreate live incidents or major crime investigations such as train derailments, plane crashes, riots, armed sieges, etc.
Through the use of video, audio, photos, operational radio traffic, telephone, maps, intelligence, documentation and background noise critical incidents can be simulated. With careful sequencing and timing of the simulation incidents can be recreated in a vivid and very realistic way. Through Immersive Learning systems training can be delivered in a far quicker and more thorough way than is possible with traditional training techniques.
